Welcome to Elevate Mental Health and Wellness! I am truly interested in your unique story and know that our session is a judgment free zone. I want to meet people where they are in their journey and help them reach their own personal goals so they can live the life they are so hopeful to have.
I feel my strength as a provider is being able to put myself into other people's shoes. I, too, have struggled at times in my life, and have experiences that have shaped me to be an empathetic provider who instills hope while we work together to find a treatment plan that is comfortable for the client and fits their needs. Everyone's plan is individualized.
I see clients ages 18+. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, mood swings, insomnia, ADHD, trauma, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, and Level 1 Autism. The initial visit entails a thorough evaluation to determine the correct diagnosis, so you can be treated with the correct treatment.
I specialize in Psychiatry as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with an additional certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. As a medical provider, my job is to diagnose and treat. Working in Primary Care in the past has given me additional insight into not only mental health, but also knowledge related to the full body and how abnormalities in body systems can affect mental health.
Not only do I offer traditional Western medications, but I also offer recommendations for supplements and vitamins, individualized for you, that may improve your symptoms. Genesight testing is offered, which helps give direction to which medications may be better suited for your treatment due to your specific genetic make up. This includes MTHFR (c677t) and COMT testing. Labs can also be ordered to assess if there are underlying abnormalities that may be contributing to mental health symptoms.

I have recently transitioned to my own private practice, Yay! I am currently taking select insurances due to waiting on credentialing for others. I will be updating the site regarding what insurances I am accepting. I am taking self-payment, although unable to take self-pay if you have Medicaid due to insurance regulations.
